Guess it is time to catch up. About my back injury… still hurts when I stand and can’t walk very far. Yet I think there is some improvement because I have cut back on the amount of drugs that I am taking. I also am finding it easier to sleep. I will be trying to get out to an evening meeting a couple of weeks from now. Got to start reaching beyond the doors of my house.
A month ago I took some restrictions off of the blog program. Sigh… and now I am getting a bit too much spam appearing on my site. So I put the restrictions back in. Shouldn’t make that much of a difference to those who are regular contributers. Others will have to wait for approuval before their comments appear.
So glad you are sleeping … needing less meds … it will be great to have you back!!!
Glad to hear you are improving. If you ever need help lifting stuff or shoveling, I’m still available to you. Just because I’m going to another church does not mean our friendship is over!
Not over by a long shot. Of course getting together at my place for a friday supper date with you and Ruth would be nice.
I wasn’t going to posr —just lurk —-then, I noticed my name and e-mail were automatically entered for me to reply—so, I said to myself, this must be one of the changes Joe has made to his site—a nice change-=–that will save me from posting any more anonymous comments. So, thank you Joe ! You’re a business to do pleasure with !
Don, you asked about adding an image so that when you comment a picture (your avatar) will be included. I don’t have any way to include your picture to my site. I have enabled it though.
I checked it out. To add your picture (avatar – gravatar) to wordpress sites you need to go to http://en.gravatar.com/ and sign up for an account. You would then upload your avatar/gravatar image to their service. Then when you visit a wordpress site that allows avatars the wordpress site will ask the “gravatar” database and will upload your picture and add it to your comment.
I haven’t done this myself… Don’t really visit but four other blogs powered by blogspot.
Hope this helps.
So Don wrote to me saying he went to the gravatar site, signed up, followed the directions and evrything now works fine. You can see his handywork above.
