So I was lying in bed somewhere between conciousness and sleep. I had a late night dream just before waking. Israel was pointing its military (air) towards Iran. I heard the call of a crow and it was flying east. I got these words:
Caw! Caw! O house of Saud! The crows are calling and they are flying east
Just a dream or a bit of prohecy? I have no idea. Will Israel strike out against Iran? Will there be a religious call in Saudi Arabia to enter a sectarian war with Iran?
It is a “twilight’s last gleaming”, an “Edge of Reason” thought.
I’m going back to bed, roll over, and hopefully get a few more hours of sleep.
There are many things happening in the world. We know from scripture all future events leading up to the return of Jesus focus around Israel. My dad is reading a good book right now by Dr. David Jeremiah called ” What In The World Is Going On.” A must read for every Christian. That could be a prophetic dream, or whatever you ate before going to bed. Only time will tell. Oh!, Just so you know, I have next dibs on borrowing the book.
I missed this post when you first put it up. Any more thought-provoking dreams?
Well I did get an image of a terrorist attack at a mall… possibly Toronto Eaton Center… an explosion near one of the entrances. Of course I wouldn’t say “thus says the Lord” on any image or dream that I may have. Yet there have been times where I got “info” from out of the blue that later turned out to be true. The collapse of the new york trade center towers. The tsuname that killed all those people around the Indian Ocean. Other times it is financial info… the rise and fall of the dollar or stock market fluctuations. If I was consistently right that would be wonderful. Problem is I can’t differentiate what comes from “seeing the future: word of knowledge” and a “vision: (as Scrooge said) ’caused by’ an undigested piece of meat”.
I get all kinds of pictures too. It is hard to differentiate what is what. That’s where the gift of discernment comes in. I pray for that a lot. I think 99.9% of what we see is meant to be interceded for and not spoken, unless of course we have very very clear direction from the Lord, then you better speak it or you won’t rest until you do. Peace of mind and heart is the gage I usually go by. The acid test of true prophecy is: If it comes true, it was God, if it doesn’t it was mainly because of the meat!
